Hemlock Valley is located in the Pacific Maritime ecozone, which lies along British Columbia's coast, and its border with Alaska. The Pacific Maritime is one of the smallest ecozones in Canada, and carries around two and a half million people. The exponential growth in the ecozone has been due to the luscious forests, and plethora of fish. This is yet another reason why the Hemlock Valley Park is so important. We need to ensure humans will not cut down the trees in this beautiful area for the trees sake, and animals sake.
